Contract for booking, cancellation and use of Villa Vitali services

Art. 1 Regulations for use of Villa Vitali services

By placing their bookings, clients undertake to comply with the attached regulations for use of the apartments, which form an integral part of this contract.

Art. 2 Booking

Rooms may be booked digitally using this Internet site and by contacting the Management directly; both procedures are regulated by this contract.

On placing the booking, a credit card is required to secure the booking but no charge will be done until the check-out at Villa Vitali. 

In the case of bookings made by this website (www.villavitalibellagio.com) or means other than this site (email), Clients undertake to provide the Management a valid credit card (Visa or Mastercard with expiration date after the month of the dates of the stay at Villa Vitali) to secure the reservation.

For bookings made on this webiste www.villavitalibellagio.com and for bookings made by e-mail a provision of credit card details is essential for the finalisation of bookings, and, under the terms of the following articles, the Management reserves the right to charge the Client, who hereby authorises any such charges, the penalties due in the event of a no-show on the arrival date, early departure, or any damage caused to the room used.
The room requested shall be considered booked on confirmation of receipt of the valdi credit card and dispatch of the corresponding email of booking confirmation by the Management.

Art. 3 Cancellation by the Client – early departure

Clients wishing to cancel a booking placed on the Internet site or by email must notify the Management immediately, again on the Internet site or by email. Verbal cancellations are not accepted. No charge will be made for cancellations received by the Management up to 15 days prior to the booking period. From the 14th day, in case of cancellation, Clients will be charged a penalty equal to their full reservation amount. In the event of late arrival, early departure or no-show, the Management reserves the right to charge for the entire stay booked.

Art. 4 – Cancellation of booking by the Management

If the Management decides to cancel a booking already placed and confirmed, the Client won’t be charged for any amount, and thus waives the right to any further claims.

Art. 5 Payment of balance outstanding

The full amount of the booking is due at checkout at Villa Vitali, at which time the sums due for the client’s stay will be calculated, at the stated rate, together with all additional sums due in payment for extras and under the main conditions of the regulations, with any charges for damage. A minimum charge of € 30.00 will be applied in the event of loss or breakage of the key.

Art. 6 Legal jurisdiction

Any disputes arising between the client and Villa Vitali with regard to the contract shall be subject to Italian law and the law courts of Milan shall have jurisdiction. The regulations for use are enclosed, and by booking the room, Clients declare their acceptance of both this contract and the aforesaid regulations, and their individual, independent acceptance of clauses defined as unconscionable under art. 1341 of the Italian Civil Code, contained in articles 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6, and consent to the processing of their personal data pursuant to Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003.
